Section 6 Course Calendar

Module 0 - Introduction.

Complete the following from Monday, January 10, to Wednesday, January 12. You may be dropped from the class if you don't complete the following assignments by 11:59 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. If you experience any challenges, make sure to email me at heiko.spoddeck@pcc.edu before the deadline.

  1. Watch the Orientation video by Wednesday at 11:59 PM

  2. Read the Course Syllabus, including the Calendar, by Wednesday at 11:59 PM

  3. Make a post in the "Introduce Yourself" Discussion by Wednesday at 11:59 PM to introduce yourself to your classmates.

  4. Fill out the Introduction Survey by Wednesday at 11:59 PM to introduce yourself to me and ask me any questions you like.

  5. Complete the WeBWorK Orientation Assignment by Wednesday at 11:59 PM to learn how to use WeBWorK.

Module 1 - Sections 10.1, 10.2, 10.3.

Complete the following from Monday, January 10, to Sunday, January 16:

  1. Watch video lectures and complete related lecture outlines for 10.1, 10.2, 10.3

  2. Read the textbook sections for 10.1, 10.2, 10.3

  3. Post a Discussion in Module 1 and reply to one of your classmates

  4. Practice by completing the WeBWorK Exercises for Sections 10.1, 10.2, 10.3

  5. Complete Quiz 1 Highest Score 10-1 10-2 10-3 in WeBWorK to check yourself how well you know the material. You may repeat this quiz as many times as you like during this week.

  6. Read or print the worksheet for Quiz 1 One Chance 10-1 10-2 10-3. Follow the instructions on the worksheet while taking the Quiz.

  7. Complete Quiz 1 One Chance 10-1 10-2 10-3 in WeBWorK. Write out your work on the corresponding worksheet or on your own paper and upload your completed worksheet to D2L.

Module 5 - Midterm Exam and Preparation.

Complete the following from Friday, February 4, to Friday, February 11:

  1. Work through the Midterm Review material.

  2. Review all your Quizzes and my feedback. Maybe retake some of them on your own for practice.

  3. Take your Midterm Exam online on WeBWorK on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 6:00PM - 8:30PM. Please email me before the exam if you would like to take it on a different day and/or at a different time.

Module 6 - Sections 12.1, 12.2, 12.3.

Complete the following from Monday, February 14, to Sunday, February 20:

Complete the following from Friday, March 11, to Tuesday, March 22:

  1. Work through the Final Exam Review material.

  2. Review all your Quizzes and my feedback, as well as the midterm exam. Maybe retake some of them on your own for practice.

  3. Take your Final Exam online on WeBWorK on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 6-8 PM. Please email me before the exam if you would like to take it on a different day and/or at a different ime.
