Sylvania Student Employment and Cooperative Education offer a number of services to students and graduates seeking employment or work experience.
General Jobs jobs are a variety of part-time and full-time jobs unrelated
to a specific program or career.
Cooperative
Education is a program that enables students to earn college credit
for work experience related to their career goals.
Graduate
Employment jobs are related to specific career programs at PCC.
These jobs are usually full-time, although part-time opportunities are
available.
Job
Referral Services are available to students and graduates from
Sylvania's career programs, who are eligible to receive announcements via
e-mail of current co-op and job openings.
Our Special
Events calendar lists upcoming events for PCC students and others looking
for work including career fairs, on-campus recruiting, and workshops.
Job
Search Resources available on our web pages include listings of
special events, other PCC and community services, employers' job hotlines,
and links to other related sites. We also offer suggestions for Informational Interviewing, an excellent way to research and build network contacts.

We offer
Interviewing Strategies and tips for job interviews.
Resources for Job Seekers Facing Barriers includes Resources for Laid Off Workers as well as assistance to job seekers over 50, jobs seekers with disabilities, individuals with criminal records, and others.
Swimming in the Deep End: Job Search During Recession is a multimedia presentation for job seekers looking for work.
Employers may use our services to fill full-time

Sylvania Co-op Faculty Resources provide guidelines to instructors and others for PCC policies and procedures. Recruiting Guidelines are also available for faculty and staff who work directly with employers.
