Summer Jobs Resources

There are many places where you can look for a good summer job: large corporations with summer hiring programs; parks and recreation departments; local government summer job programs; summer camps; hotels and resorts; tourist attractions; golf, tennis and other sports clubs; local merchants and small businesses; malls; grocery stores; fast food and restaurants; etc. Job seekers with strong technical or office skills may find temporary employment through staffing agencies.

Contact these employers as you would for any job via phone, web or direct. You will probably be asked to complete an application and interview. In some cases, you will need a resume. Remember that most of these employers hire early for the summer season. Most summer job recruiting occurs in March and April!
