If you take this class for 1 credit, you will be with us in class for 1 hour and 20 minutes Tuesdays and Thursdays. Unless you start in week 6. For those late-start 1-credit classes, you will be with us in class for 2 hours 50 minutes. If you take this class for 2 credits, you will be with us for 2 hours and 50 minutes Tuesdays and Thursdays the entire term, with a 10-minute break of your own chosing.
If you are attending class as scheduled, you will automatically complete your 2.5 hours (1 credit) or 5 hours (2 credits or 1 credit late start) each week. However, you have until Sunday at 11:59 pm to complete any missing time.
Exam Dates:.
Knowledge Checks appear automatically and random in ALEKS. You may postpone it for 24 hours. However, after that you will need to take it. Knowledge Checks are not timed.
Late Work & Make-up Policy.
You may make up missed classes by working in ALEKS. At the end of our class, you will need to have been in class for 20 days or have made up the hours in ALEKS. That makes a total of 25 hours if you are taking this class for 1 credit and 50 hours if you are taking this class for 2 credits.
For all make up requests, please state clearly what day and time you will make up the missing time. Bear in mind that you still need to finish everything by finals week so don't push the make up time out too far. However, I will accept all requests.
The most important thing is that you communicate with me by emailing me if you are experiencing any challenges in your life and/or studies. I will work with you as best as I can to support you in finishing our class successfully.
