WR 105 Writing for Scholarships

Schedule of Readings and Assignments

Students in WR 105 will be required to complete essay writing (2 drafts per essay), in-class writing and participation in class discussions. It is assumed that you will complete all assigned readings of the text.

All activities should be completed and submitted before or on the due date. Remember to check for spelling and grammar, as these will effect your grade.  Students may earn extra credit by revising assignments.  See Grading Criteria for more information.

Essay Homework:

Format: Formal essays should be submitted in proper essay form.   Essays should be word processed, using standard size font and spacing (double or 1 1/2 spaced).  Spelling, grammar and punctuation will affect your grade.  Please submit assignments on or before the due date in-person or via e-mail.  Students will be asked to submit multiple copies for group review.

Topics: Topics will be assigned by the instructor and will correspond to the linked course, CG 105, activities.
