One Year Certificate in Computer Information Systems

Computer Information Systems offers a One-Year CIS Certificate that is designed to provide students with introductory networking, tech support and programming skills.

Students can use this certificate to look for entry-level IT jobs, such as:


Associate of Applied Science Degrees

We offer four Associate of Applied Science degrees. These degrees can be completed in two years of full-time study if a student tests into WR 121 (English Composition), with no reading class required and into MTH 65 (intro to algebra II) or higher.

The AAS Degree in CIS is designed for the student interested in a career as a Junior Database Developer, Junior Data Analyst, Software Tester, or Junior Programmer.

The AAS Degree in Network Administration is designed for the student interested in a career as a Network Technician, Junior Network Admin, Junior Systems Admin, or Linux or Window network admin.

The AAS Degree in Cybersecurity is designed for the student interested in a career in Entry-level network security jobs..

The AAS Degree in Web Development and Design is designed for the student interested in a career in Entry-level Web Development, such as junior web developer and junior html/css developer.

Advanced CIS Certificates

CIS also offers eleven (11) advanced certificates. These are designed to be completed along with one of the AAS Degrees in CIS or by themselves, for those already working in IT or another industry.

These certificates are comprised of advanced CIS classes that assume prior IT knowledge either through CIS coursework or work experience.

These certificates are NOT eligible for financial aid.
