I offer academic advising for students pursuing a Certificate or Associate of Applied Science degree from the Computer Information Systems program.
I also offer computer science transfer advising.
Computer Information Systems is PCC's Information Technology (IT) program.

All advising appointments must be scheduled in advance.
Appointments are by zoom, phone or in person. In-person appointments are on the Sylvania Campus.

I can help with:
- Explaining the difference between CIS (or IT) and Computer Science
- Changing your major, as needed
- Choosing First Term Classes
- Mapping out your classes for any of the Certificates or AAS Degrees from the CIS Program.
- Lifting the Veterans Hold and creating a three term plan for your VA Educational Benefits
- Completing the advisor's section of the Financial Aid Credit Limit Extension
- Paperwork for various funding sources, such as Trade Act and Vocational Rehabilitation
Some things I can not help with:
- I can not answer any Financial Aid questions. Due to Federal privacy laws, students must work directly with financial aid with any questions. They can be reached at 971 722-8888, option 4
- I can not register, drop or withdraw you from a class. Students are the only ones who can register, drop and/or withdraw themselves from a class.
- I can not mediate or resolve any disputes or appeals with instructors or student accounts. Please visit this page for information on student appeals.
