Equation editor and curly braces

This morning I got word from my TSM at Blackboard that a bug I submitted and documented 4 months ago has finally been identified as a problem in the WebCT code, not a problem with the OEM equation editor. Here's a demonstration of the problem, as was encountered by a student taking her final. The bug has been identified and can be tracked using VST-4468.

While satisfying to finally get some resolution, it's a little like pointing out a nail head that's sticking out of the deck on the Titanic. It's a minuscule problem in the scope of things, and we all know what's going to happen.
