It's our fourth and final day here in Malhuer. Our bags are packed, the gear is loaded, and we are ready to go. But we are going to make a few stops on our way home, so here we go......
Our first stop on
our way home is the Serpentinite Cliff Wall. It's big, it's green, it's
cool.....
Moving on to our next stop....
The John Day Fossil Beds, complete with letters that try and make you feel guilty about taking the very cool rocks!
We go on a short hike
through the area......
the trail ends with an awesome view....
Back to the vans, on to....
The painted hills....
We go on a very short
walk to a nice picture spot.....
Then it's back in the vans to the area you can walk through....
Our final stop before we head home is a hunt for the Prickley Pear Cactus....
Found it!!! That didn't
take long.
**Just as a side
note Chevy's actually has a mixed drink called the Prickly Pear, hehe!**
Now it's time to go
home!
We had a blast, thank
you Melinda, Lynn, and Peter for a great trip!!!
