Manufacturing

  • Research, write, and assemble contract documents using standard CSI procedures
  • Familiar with project planning and scheduling, resource leveling, and cost allocation
  • Prepare job plans and labor standards, material requirements, cost estimates, design drawings, contract work statements and specifications for various projects
  • Work with engineers about factors to be considered in design and selection of materials
  • Confer with supervisor to determine project details, such as plan preparation, acceptance testing and materials restrictions
  • Estimate cost factors, including labor and material for purchased and fabricated parts and costs for assembly, testing, and installing
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and work under pressure in situations where numerous diverse demands are involved
  • Ability to communicate with diverse groups of individuals utilizing tact and diplomacy
  • Serve as a member of multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Work collaboratively in a research and development team
