Transfer students are responsible for contacting their transfer school for up-to-date information on the program they will be articulating into. All schools can and do make changes to their programs every year. You are strongly advised to work with an OT (Oregon Technology) or SOU (Southern Oregon University) advisor as you complete your lower-division coursework at PCC.
Administrative Assistant, Administrative Office Professional, Computer Information Systems, Network Administration and Website Development and Design are career/technical majors. Four-year universities do not offer bachelor degrees or higher in career/technical majors, so classes in these majors generally do not transfer into a four-year university.
The following two bachelor degree programs were specifically designed for students, who complete an Associate of Applied Science degree in most technical or vocational majors. Both schools will accept AAS degrees in Computer Information Systems, Network Administration, and Website Development and Design.
Important! CAS Administrative Assistant & Administrative Office Professional majors:
Oregon Technology accepts the AAS degree in Administrative Assistant and the AAS degree in Administrative Office Professional.
Southern Oregon University does NOT accept these AAS degrees.
