“The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), an international partnership of Europe, North America and East Asia in cooperation with the Republic of Chile, is the largest astronomical project in existence. ALMA will be a single telescope of revolutionary design, composed initially of 66 high precision antennas located on the Chajnantor plateau, 5000 meters altitude in northern Chile”. Oregon Forecasting Inc. worked with Triad Project Management to supporting the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) project.  This is a billion dollar science instrument being constructed through contractual partnerships by 3 International Funding/Management groups:   the European Southern Observatory, the NSF National Radio Astronomy Observatory, and Japan.

Twelve Project Schedules are integrated into a (13,500 activity - 16,400 relationships) Multi-Project Master Schedule (IPS).  The IPS is statused twice a month and is integrated into Cobra’s for the EVMS update once a month.  As a consultant, I have been the Master Scheduler, instructor, and an integral part of developing the EVMS including the WBS, OBS and Budget Estimates for the Performance Measurement Baseline.  I have trained the Project Management Control System staff of 6 Planner/Cost Control people on 3 continents from inception to maturity. https://science.nrao.edu/facilities/alma
