| Rachel Solonika recently participated in an internship with the City of Beaverton’s Events Program. This internship allowed Rachel to gain hands-on experience in her future career goal as an Event Coordinator. During the internship, Rachel gained experience in: recruiting sponsors, coordinating marketing materials, representing the City at events, assisting with budget planning, working with graphic designers, coordinating volunteers/staff, planning layouts of event site, working with vendors, community members and professionals in her field and much more. |
