CS133G – Final Project

 

On this final project you will develop a game with a group of 3-4 students of any genre with the following requirements.

·        Describe which type of player you are targeting and the gender, generation of player that might enjoy your game.
·        What is the purpose of your game, pure entertainment, education, etc.
·        Describe and explain the specific genre of the game.
·        Develop the game using traditional story telling (Act 1-3)
·        Describe the Story elements of the game (Premise, Backstory, Synopsis, Theme, Setting)
·        Develop your own game character giving him/her a character type such as animal fantasy, etc. Write a one paragraph describing the character’s personality, story (birth place, age, etc).
·        Creating the different levels using consistent structure, each level should have a goal, flow, duration, observe the time, etc.
·        Use of non copyrighted song (MIDI favorable)
·        All the above, along with the instructions for the game should be handed in to your instructor and also be placed in the “help” for the game. Upload the game to the server by its due date.
·        Included in the document, you should state which portion of the game each group member was responsible for building, such as programming, design, etc.

During your demo, each member of the other groups will evaluate your game and your presentation and hand it to the instructor for a final grade.
