Ports and Slots…again
•The system board (motherboard) includes
several ports:
–Serial Port for attaching devices that send/receive
messages one bit at a time (modems)
–Parallel Port for attaching devices that send/receive
bits in groups (printers)
–Keyboard/Mouse Port
