You must be registered to attend... Make sure your name is on the class roster!
Late registration... Obtain an Add Override form (a.k.a. blue slip) and a prerequisite override (if required) from your
instructor and take it to the nearest Registration Office or Registration Drop Box.

• Payment due date -  2nd Friday of the term... If you register after that date, payment is due immediately.
50/50 Deferred Plan... Enables you to pay one-half of term charges by the 2nd Friday of the term and the balance four
weeks later. Application deadline is the day of term. See class schedule for details.
Late Payment Penalty... A fee of up to $25 per term is assessed one-week after the due date.

• Application... Apply on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov or through the Financial Aid Office. Your application (FAFSA) may be submitted up to nine-months prior to the beginning of term. The sooner you apply the better!
Disbursement & Refunds... Your award will be disbursed to your student account beginning the 3rd week of the term.
Refunds may be picked up at the business office or you may authorize a direct deposit to your bank account.
Scholarships... Information on scholarships is available at www.osac.state.or.us , or through the Foundation Office.

• Grades... Posted on-line and through TRAIL one week after the end of term. Mailed upon request.
Unofficial Transcripts... Available through admissions, advising or student records office with picture ID.
Official Transcripts... Complete Transcript Request Form and submit with $3 payment to business office. Request will be processed 5 days after receipt by Student Records. No phone requests accepted.
 
DROPS AND WITHDRAWALS... It is YOUR responsibility to drop or withdraw through the registration area if you cannot attend or complete the class. Be sure to confirm and verify the next day!
Drop - 100% refund: Deadline determined by class length as published in the PCC Class Schedule. Course does not
appear on transcript.
Drop -- no refund: Dropped after refund deadline but before withdrawal period. Course does not appear on transcript.
Withdrawals: For 10-12 week classes, withdraw between the 5th and 8th week of term. For shorter classes, withdraw
before 80% of scheduled meeting dates. “W” grade appears on transcript. Withdrawals do not remove charges.
Instructor Withdrawal: Faculty may withdraw you if you do not attend the first week of class, or stop attending prior to
the end of the withdrawal period. W grade appears on transcript. INSTRUCTOR DROPS AND WITHDRAWALS DO NOT REMOVE
CHARGES.
 
APPEALS... You may petition for removal of tuition charges if an extreme hardship prevents you from completing a course. All other class fees and past due amounts must be paid before your petition will be considered. The petition must be in writing, contain supporting documentation and be received by the Appeal Committee within 90 days of your last date of attendance. Additional information is available by calling your campus Dean of Students or the Student Accounts office.
