In order to submit assignments in D2L, you will need to convert your hand-written work into a single PDF file. Below are some options for creating PDFs. There may be other options -- you're welcome to use any method that works for you.
|
Option 1: Use an Actual ScannerOf course, if you have a actual scanner, it can be used. Just be sure that you have it set to create a single PDF if there are several pages. Option 2: Use Smart Phone or Tablet to "Scan"There are free PDF apps that can be downloaded to smart phones or tablets and enable you to convert photos of your written work into a PDF document. There are also websites that will prodoce PDFs of images. Below are a few PDF apps but you're encouraged to perform an Internet search and/or ask friends/classmates for their recommendations:
Another possiblity is to drag photos of your assignments into pages of a Google doc and then save the Google doc as a PDF. Option 3: Use a Tablet and a PDF EditorIf you have a tablet, you can write directly on the PDF electronically. Option 4: Use a Scanner at a LibrarySome libraries may have scanning options. The PCC libraries all offer this service. |
