Classes that are offered at Wild Weavers
Foundation
Are you looking into starting agility with your dog? This is the class for you! For dogs that are six months or older, this is where the foundation is played and skills are learned to help you and your dog become a working team. In this class, you and your dog will learn circle work, review basic obedience skills, reliable recalls, two-on two-off contacts and introduction to equipment. It is recommended to take a basic obedience class before taking this class.
Beginning Agility
Once a good foundation is set, this is the next class to take. In this class, you and your canine partner will now work on full height equipment, short sequences, basic handling skills and weave poles.
Intermediate Agility
For teams that know all of the equipment, this is the class for you! In this class, the goal is to get you and your dog ready for competition! You will experience a combination of short and long sequenses, come up with a pre-run and post-run routine, how to walk a course and how to enter trials.
Competition Agility
This class is for teams competing at the Advanced or Masters level. Explore technicle handling sequences, evaluating courses, some international techniques and sequences and blind crosses.
