Chef Joel

Joel Stocks - Executive Chef/Owner

 

Joel is a native of Portland, Oregon and grew up around cooking. At the age of twelve he decided he wanted to graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. By thirteen he had already decided he wanted to work at The French Laundry, a restaurant in the Napa Valley that many consider to be the best in the country. He accomplished both of these goals before he turned twenty.

Jennifer is an important member of the staff who is responsible for many of the behind the scene activities that make the restaurant special. Jennifer provides a mixture of accounting, web designing, interior decorating, and general management. Her experience in photography enhances our web site. Jennifer is also a native of Oregon.

 

Winemaker John

John Lyon - Wine Maker

 

John is the owner of Idealist Wines. His experience has come from working in vineyards in New Zealand, Washington's Columbia Valley, Willamette Valley and the Dundee Hills. He is a native Oregonian too.
