                        RUSSIAN TUTORING
                           Winter quarter 2020

Russian tutoring is a free service for students registered in Russian courses winter quarter at PCC. Winter quarter Tatiana Peterson and Rasnaam Singh will be working as our tutors. You will find one of them sitting at a round table on the ground floor of the CT building with the русский язык sign. Please take advantage of this great resource. Tatiana is a native-speaker and Rasnaam is a second year student, who is particularly skilled with explaining grammar. Tatiana will be excellent for pronunciation and speaking practice. If you’re confused on grammar, Rasnaam will be a huge help to you. Also, please be mindful of their time. The tutors do not get paid extra for working longer, so make sure you leave when the posted tutoring hours end.

Tatiana and Rasnaam are not allowed to help you complete your homework and corrections, nor can they look over your work. But if you are confused on an assignment, they can help you do a similar exercise out of the text or make up an exercise for you, so that you can learn the concept. If the tutor is working with another student, do not leave. Let her know what you need to do, and she will find a way to work with you too.  (This is especially important if you need to make up an absence, since you only have a week to do that.)
