Doris Werkman Retirement Tribute

In honor of Doris Werkman's retirement, I offer this short animation featuring Doris' favorite things in the world - Celtic Music and Quilting. Best wishes, Doris!

Update: I've been notified that Doris doesn't really like Celtic music. I knew that. But she does love quilting, so I think she'll like the film anyway.

Update: Someone has pointed out that this film was produced by the National Film Board of Canada. Since I'm not Canadian, I can't have made this movie. It's true. I admit it. I just found it on-line. But I didn't think she'd mind as I've heard Doris say many times before, "There's a little bit of Canada in all of us."

Update: Fine. Doris never said that. But we've all heard her say, "There's a quilt in everyone's heart." So just enjoy the film already!

Update: OK. OK. She never said, "There's a quilt in everyone's heart." But she really does put heart into her quilts (this is one of hers) AND into her teaching AND into everything she does. So here's wishing Doris all the best!
