Homework: Week 1

Study goal for the week: Introductions. Read Fast Food Nation excerpt. Work on Chapter 1.

Monday:	Read the entire syllabus and write 5 quiz questions about it. Don't create questions that are too EASY or too HARD, please! Turn in the questions next time: this is a graded assignment. Start reading the handout: Excerpt from the book Fast Food Nation.
Wednesday:	Do Assignment C, page 6: Write an outline of the reading and bring next time for discussion. Follow the format shown in the chapter - use Roman numerals for all major ideas. Don't use the same sentences as the reading; write your own words. Include details as needed to be clear. Outline the ENTIRE reading - both the "Throughput" section and the "Stroking" section. This is a graded assignment. If you ask a tutor for help, show them page 8.
