Homework: Week 2

Study goal for the week: Pronunciation; /I/; Chapter 1; the first informal presentation

 

Tuesday:
  1. 1) Practice Speaking HW 1- "Drinking and Health Risks." Next week, you will read "Drinking and Health Risks" to me in my office. Use this tool to sign up for Pronunciation times: https://davinaramirez.youcanbook.me
  2. Finish pages 6-9 in your book.
  3. Prepare the Movie Review Presentation. Create a page of notes to turn in.
Thursday:
  1. Keep going in Chapter 1. Finish pages 12 - 17. Watch the two presentations.
  2. Work on the Pronunciation homework. Go to the Tutoring center and read the assignment to a tutor.
  3. Next Tuesday, you will do Ex. E on Page 13. Create your notecard and practice!
  4. Listening practice: Check out the TedEd website. Watch the video on the Placebo Effect. Follow the advice I gave in class. Remember that you should spend homework time on YOUR weak areas!
