What is this page for?

There are times when I would like to type some math, but I am restricted to plain text without access to formatting or special math rendering (LaTeX, AsciiMath, etc). For me this comes up when annotating a PDF or writing an email. Usually the basic math characters I want to type are available from the unicode catalog. So I put characters here to put into the clipboard and paste somewhere.

If you use this page and would like some additions or other changes made, contact me at alex.jordan@pcc.edu. One place to browse additional mathematical unicode characters is Wikipedia.
