We are lucky enough to
have two native French speakers
working as tutors this term. Please take
advantage and come see them, even if it’s just to say “bonjour,
ça va?”. They are there to help you
with your French,
but they are also interested in meeting American students.
Getting outside conversational practice with
a native speaker is invaluable—the more the better!
If
a student is already working with the tutor, join in!
You may have the same question(s) and it will
be helpful to participate in the conversation.
Tutors are available
for oral/written practice: bring your
book to practice pronunciation, bring écrit/oral questions to
practice answering
questions, go over corrected homework to ask questions, etc. While tutors cannot help you do your
homework, they can give general suggestions for corrections or help
clarify
areas of confusion. For help with
writing a composition or assignment, please see your instructor.
If a tutor is not
there, please report it to Stephanie Whitney-Bradley, CT 219,
503-977-4851,
swhitney@pcc.edu.
