Individual Assignment 7: Your Choice

Complete only ONE of the following exercises for credit on this assignment:

1. Voice-Over Narration. Write and record a script for voice-over narration. This can be in the form of a long advertisement or a long public service announcement. The script should be set to run for exactly 3 minutes. Included in the script you can and should note what images or pictures will be seen by the audience. Record your narration and put it into a Flash animation, a PowerPoint slideshow, a Director file, or a video file edited in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro. Include background imagery that works with your narration. If you take this option, be sure to turn this in at least one week before the final exam date.
   
   
2. Artwork for Class Project. Include your artwork for your mission, architecture, characters, etc. that you wrote about in the Class Project. Along with these, create a brief written summary (200 to 300 words) describing your process for creating the artwork, comments about the artwork, and/or your experience that led you to creating this type of art.
   
   
3. Help The Instructor on one of his damn, fool projects! This will be described later.
   
   
4. Team Work. Help another student out in a substantial way with their Crew Project. You may want to consider finding a student who'd like to do a trade with you for services. Write a short essay (300 to 400 words) summarizing the work you did and what worked and what didn't work with your role in the project. Be tactful with your observations!

Helping out can include:

• Being an actor and playing one of the parts in a video they produce,
• Completely editing the video for them,
• or some other substantial help as approved in advance by the instructor.

Helping out does NOT include:

• writing any of their script -- that's their job!
• reading one of the parts in an in-class presentation -- let's face it, this requires little preparation!
• or doing some minor work on their project -- the instructor will be the final judge of what is or is not substantial!

Send your instructor an email message with the relevant documents attached, or upload the project the SWS then send a message to your instructor confirming the upload. The email message should include a subject like:
