Informative Speech using Visual Aids
Your second graded speech is an informative speech. In this speech you will give the audience information about the organization that you have selected through the Service Learning component of this class. You are to use at least two and no more than three visual aids in this speech. Visual aids may be used in the introduction, but only the ones used in the body of the speech count toward fulfilling your visual aid requirement. You are also required to cite at least two references within the body of the speech. Reference citations may be used in the introduction, but only the ones used in the body of the speech count toward fulfilling your reference requirement. You will turn in a works cited page along with your formal outline on the day of your speech presentation.
Topics: Hand into me two possible topics that focus on your organization. Include some basic information about the content of the speech so that I can understand your focus.
Speech: This will be a 5-7 minute informative speech. Read chapter 14 in order to get a better idea of how to use visual aids. Read chapter 15 for a more clear idea of what goes into an informative speech.
