You are enjoying a balloon ride with a number of interesting people from many different professions. Suddenly the balloon begins to lose altitude. It will soon crash, killing all aboard. The only solution to the problem is for all except three people to be thrown overboard to lighten the load. Each person has two minutes, and two minutes only, to justify his or her existence according to the importance of his or her profession. You can take a moment to gather your thoughts.

There will be five students "riding" in each balloon. Each student will chose a profession from the "hat" and spend two minutes telling the audience the importance of his or her profession so that he/she might live. We will vote on the winners at the end of the debate.

Your job is to create an argument in favor of saving you. You are not to tell us why others should not be saved, but why you, in your profession, should be saved. Your grade will be based on the argument you make.
