blower. Her goal for the WRC is to inform other student parents of opportunities

Ida is studying
Computer Information Systems for a transfer degree. Originally she is from
Eritrea, East Africa and has been living in Portland for 3 years. She is
looking forward to encouraging more women to enter high careers. |

| Melissa Shearer |
 |
 |
Melissa has spent the last 7 years on the west coast. She attended
a massage therapy & acupressure program and established a business in
S. Cal. She is in her 2nd year at PCC heading for a transfer degree so
that she can pursue a degree in Women's Studies and Sociology. |

Courtney Smith |

This is Courtney's
2nd full-time year at PCC and her 2nd year as a student advocate. Her goal
as an advocate is to help make college a fun, inclusive and conscious experience.
Her long term educational goals are getting an undergraduate degree from
Marylhurst and eventually a Masters degree in education. |

Crystal is a second
year student at PCC. She plans to transfer to an Oregon university next
fall to double major in anthropology and sociology. Her interests are international
relations, social justice and human rights issues. |

Laura started at
PCC in 2000. She plans on transferring to a university out of state, possibly
