IF YOU DON'T APPLY, YOU DON'T WIN!

Attending a Scholarship Workshop is the first step in the application process for scholarships. Women's Resource Center staff will explain the requirements of individual competitions.

The Sylvania Women's Resource Center sponsors scholarship workshops each term. These workshops are designed to educate students who are new to the scholarship process.

Topics include:

how to gather scholarship information
choosing appropriate scholarships
writing essays and letter of application
finding individuals to write letters of recommendation

All are welcome to the introductory sessions, and no sign-up is required. The scholarship workshops in the Fall are co-sponsored by the PCC Financial Aid office and focus on general scholarship research. The Winter term workshops focus on the OSAC scholarship application. The Spring term workshops are co-sponsored by the PCC Foundation office and focus on the PCC Foundation scholarship. There are no scholarship workshops held during the Summer term. Check our calendar for upcoming workshop dates.
