Rock Creek Programs

  • The Environmental Studies and Resources (ESR) Program. Students study environmental policy and environmental science in preparation for jobs in government, consulting firms, and industry. Courses offered at PCC, both for majors and non-majors, provide many outdoor experiences in the RCESC. Students earn an Associate of Arts degree and complete the Bachelor's at a 4 year college.

  • The Biology Program. Students interested in ecology, biological diversity, genetics, and the health sciences Class in Costa Ricacan earn an Associate of Arts degree prior to completion of the Bachelor's at a 4 year college. Many biology courses, for majors and non-majors, include an outdoor lab component in the RCESC.

  • The Landscape Technology Program prepares students for entry level and supervisory work in landscape construction, design, and management, or nursery production. In the construction area, students work with landscape contractors. Those specializing in management work in maintaining existing landscapes, both private and public. Students can earn an Associates of Applied Science degree or select from four two-year certificates
