<p><span style='font-family:Verdana'>1. Contact the John Mery (Applied Lesson
Coordinator) <a href="mailto:jmery@pcc.edu">jmery@pcc.edu</a> in order to
register . <o:p></o:p></span></p>

2. Select a teacher from the <a href="instructor_list.pdf">Instructor List</a>
(PDF). These teachers have been approved by our Music Department to offer
lessons for college credit through PCC. If you are already studying with a
teacher and wish to continue and the teacher is not on the PCC list, we can
send application forms to him/her for potential approval. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style='font-family:Verdana'>Contact the teacher to arrange schedule
and fees (payment is made directly to the instructor). In order to receive
one (1) credit per term for Applied Music, you need to take the equivalent of
ten 30-minute lessons. In addition attend semi-weekly recital hour held
Fridays at 1:00 p.m., HT123. The first recital meeting is absolutely
mandatory - anyone that is registered and misses this meeting will be
dropped. Missing any other recitals will negatively affect your final grade.<br>

3. Attend and participate in <a href="recjur.htm">recitals and juries</a>. FIRST
RECITAL PERFORMANCE MUST BE COMPLETED BY FIFTH WEEK OF CLASSES. <i>Non-music
majors (MUP 100) do not need to complete step this step.</i></span><span
