On most PCC campuses, parking permits are required from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. How do you buy a visitor’s parking permit? First, you can park your car temporarily where there are signs saying “5 Minute Limit Pay Station Only.” Second, locate the closest pay station. It is a yellow machine located by the parking lots. Now that you have located the yellow machine, read the directions where it says “Follow Directions On The Screen.” The screen tells how much money you need to buy the permit, so insert coins, credit card, or $1 bills. When you put in the correct amount of money, the machine will print a receipt and give you change. Finally, take the receipt and the change from where it says “Take receipt/change.” Now park your car in a long-term parking space, and put the receipt on the dashboard of your car with the date showing. Now you don’t need to worry about getting a ticket. You have your parking permit and it is good for the entire day. Enjoy your time at PCC.
