|
The months of September, October and November are beautiful in Oregon. This is the season called autumn, or fall, and there are many changes in nature at this time. The temperature of the air becomes cooler, the sun rises later and sets earlier, and the trees begin to change. The leaves on some trees turn from green to different shades of yellow, orange, red and brown. Then, they fall to the ground and the branches of the trees are bare. Some people like to play in piles of leaves in yards and on sidewalks. Other people don’t like it when the leaves fall because they have to sweep them up from their yards and off the sidewalks in front of their houses. But most people agree that the colors of fall are lovely.
