Reality Check - Employers' Expectations for New Graduates

 During the slow recovery since the "Great Recession," the unemployment rates for new college hires have remained significantly higher than for the experienced worker population.  Employers have been more demanding of new hires, expecting a greater range of skills and tools.  A number of studies over the last few years have documented these employer demands and identified gaps in what new graduates offer employers.
