Taylor Hoff
began working with Jefferson
High School Middle College Advanced Studies Dance Program in the
Costume Department during her senior year and continued working with
them as a college student at PCC. She provided design support, costume
builds, organizing costume sets, fitting and taking measurements of
students, and last minute repairs. Her work supported the Jefferson
Dancers in recitals, competitions and the 2023
National High School
Dance Festival (in Pittsburgh PA). Taylor considered her "magnum
opus"
to be creating a Pink Panther costume from cutting the pattern through
making final touches on dress rehearsal day. She earned college credit
through Cooperative Education for her work with the Jefferson Dance
Program. Taylor plans on transferring from PCC to earn her Bachelors in Business with a Minor in Textiles. She hopes to continue working as a professional in the Costume Industry. Recently, Taylor was hired as a part-time project stitcher with the Oregon Ballet Theater, so she's off to a great start! |
